Vintage Where: 2009-10 Chloe Fall/Winter Collection

Okay fellow fashionistas, if you're looking for that universal Fall/Winter wear guide, then look no further than the 2009-2010 Chloe Fall women's wear fashion show. Designers are always seeking the novice attempt at taking a masculine look and giving it a feminine twist, and the designers at Chloe have finally mastered the art. Incorporating a parachute pant, rather than the recurring wide-leg trouser, and the cinched waist on merely an over sized women's blouse, rather than the aging male button-up, we are introduced to the new wave of women's fashion. Chloe's Fall/Winter collection gives a new take on women empowerment, through the use of a well structured garment. Femininity is also exposed through the thin ruffles, enveloping each model's neck, and paired with a wide short pant, the look appears VINTAGE in its own right. The neutral, earth-toned colors give fashion lovers an easier way to make the transition from summer to fall, in that when one shops for her own fall collection, she will not have to search high and low for some slightly modern take on an otherwise vintage pattern. The integration of the extra large Hobo tote, poses as a great alternative for the modern woman on the go; and although this over sized commodity appears to be able to fit a small child, it allows for more capacity to carry more essentials to make our lives much easier. For more on the Chloe collection, visit Chloe.com and select, ready-to-wear.

Fashionista Favorites: The black velvet jacket with the cinched waist, black parachute pant, and mauve ruffled collar, as well as the cream chiffon dress with the white linen jacket over it. The opening song is also a favorite of mine, adding to the semi-masculine presentation, with a man's view on a girlfriend's pregnancy (Kings of Leon- Knocked up).
