Miss Hanneli Mustaparta in super cool vintage shorts which she has customised herself i.e. ripped the seams a little at the front. I think she said one accidentally came undone so she decided to match the other one as well!

I rather like the odd way the skeleton t-shirt works with her braids...On The High Line
We walked the High Line on the afternoon of Fashion's Night Out and it was awesome- one of the best things to do in NYC if you want to feel part of the city but not overwhelmed by it. I have walked it before but not the entire length which opened earlier this year. I love that you can buy gourmet ice blocks (ice pops for the non-Aussies and New Zealanders!)- the ones from the People's Pops stand looked so delicious especially in the late afternoon heat- and coffee from Blue Bottle Coffee (which I tried at the San Francisco Farmers Market a couple of years ago) while you stroll/read/chat/photograph/relax.
I spotted this girl as she was sitting doing some study (I think). I loved her yellow Hawaiian print romper and asked if I could take a photograph. 20 seconds later on was on my way again walking the High Line ;)On The High Line

Saturday is a day for dreaming....
- of summer days long since gone (oh no wait! It was just two weeks ago in NYC that it was blistering hot ;)
- of pretty summer dresses in pale mint chiffon (Ataui Deng) and icy blue with tiny dots (Taylor Tomasi-Hill)
- of relaxed pajama/palazzo pants in the prettiest pink (Marina Larroude) and ivory (Hanne Gaby)
- of messy, undone braids woven with leather cord (Michael Kors)... a look that would definitely work in "real life"
- of cream lace Ralph Lauren dresses worn so beautifully by Hanneli.
Saturday is most definitely a day for dreaming (and catching up on sleep;)
